The Hi'ilani EcoHouse would not exist without these dedicated builders. Most of the building technology was new to many of them, creating challenges and difficulties that had to be overcome.

On a daily basis the builders found new ways to integrate and adapt to the design challenges, and to transform existing building methods to enable achievement of the Hi'ilani EcoHouse's carbon-neutral design strategies.
