Hi'ilani Ecohouse

The daunting task of creating and maintaining 12 acres of landscape and forests is ably handled by Christine Leblond and Dan Van Ells.

The Hi'ilani EcoHouse is an active farm, with 22 different varieties of fruit trees, several dozen macademia trees, as well as pineapple and coffee. Together, Christine and Dan are responsible for oversight of all landscape needs and general farm activities.

Christine has created several nurseries, where plants, palm and forest trees are propagated and prepared for planting. Because of her diligent work ethic and great energy and dedication, she is often found working with other teams around the project.

Dan expertly handles site preparation and maintenance work, and also plays a key role in various planting activities.
