Island Plastering and Drywall LLC, of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, has been extensively involved in the application of the concrete wall finishes and tile installations in the Hi'ilani EcoHouse.

Shaun Hobbeheydar, founder of Island Plastering, and his experienced crew have applied stucco, stained concrete, and Soycrete concrete stain, in addition to handling the installation of all floor and decorative tile. Island Plastering crews have also created the beautiful textured exterior hardscape surfaces, including the terraces and the courtyard patio.

During the construction of the house, Shaun was also directly involved with the SCIP construction and finishing, and is well-versed in SCIP construction techniques.
